What is Socialveo?

Socialveo is a Social Network Software. It’s simple, yet powerful, software that helps you create and manage your own community on the web. Currently Socialveo has two flavors, Hosted and Self-Hosted.

What is Socialveo Hosted?

Socialveo Hosted it’s so called SaaS, which stay for Sofware as a service, and is a software licensing and delivery model in which software is licensed on a subscription basis and is centrally hosted. Socialveo Hosted, which requires a recurring fee, rests on our server and we’re hosting the software. You can choose between monthly subscription or yearly subscription and get two free months. Your subscription to Socialveo Hosted includes free upgrade and free support via our online ticketing system for the duration of your subscription.

What is Socialveo Self-Hosted?

Socialveo Self-Hosted, which has a one-time fee, allows customers to install our software on their own server by receiving our source code. Designed for communities with the technical know-how to self-manage on their own infrastructure. The purchase of a Socialveo Self-Hosted license is a one-time fee with 1 year of support and upgrade. Once expire, you can extend support and upgrade for another year. You get reduced price of 50% of the package which you purchase.

Who owns my website?

Only you own all of your content, members info, and any customizations you make to the source code.

Can I seel my community in the future?

Yes! If you want to sell your community, you can transfer access to your account to the buyer. The content of your community and any customization belong to you.

Pre-Sales & Account Questions

How do I purchase?

It’s pretty easy. Select the subscription or package you want to purchase,  Socialveo Hosted or Socialveo Self-Hosted, and click on the Subscribe or Download button. You’ll then be taken to our checkout page where you log into your existing account to use saved information or register a new account.

I haven’t received my receipt or login details?

The e-mail is sent the moment your payment is approved, and that should be almost immediately. If you don’t receive an email receipt or login information soon after, please  contact us and we’ll check on your payment and account.

I can’t log into my account!

If you are having trouble logging into your account, please  email and we’ll sort it out.

I can’t find my products!

If you don’t see your purchased products on the My Account page, send us an email. If you have another Socialveo account or bought a product on behalf of a client, be prepared to provide that information.

How do I buy a product with my existing account?

Ensure that you are logged into the correct account before going to the checkout page. If you aren’t logged in, or you’re logged into the wrong account, you can log in or switch accounts on the checkout page.

Which payment types do you accept?

We currently accept payment via our Stripe account: Visa, MasterCard, JCB, Discover, Diner’s Club and American Express card. More information at Cards and Payment Types accepted by Stripe.

I Can’t check out!

Is it possible to upgrade or downgrade?

Yes, in your account dashboard you have a link to change any purchase. If you click to upgrade, you are taken to the checkout page and asked to pay the difference between packages.

How do I cancel my account?

You need to contact us to help delete your account.

How do you provide support?

The best way to get help with Socialveo products is to search for answers in our Community. We’re creating and maintaining resources that help you help yourself.

If you need additional assistance, you can submit a support ticket.

If your problem is more complex and you want to show us screenshots or error messages, it’s best to send us a request support via TeamViewer or Skype. Our support staff will get back to you right away. See our Support Service and Support Policy for further information.

How long do I get support after purchase?

Your subscription to Socialveo Hosted includes complimentary support via our online ticketing system for the duration of your subscription.

While Socialveo Self-Hosted include 1 year free support, and can be extended for another year. We support only the latest version.

What types of issues are covered with support?

Our support team will assist with general and technical questions as well as any technical errors you encounter. Customization services it’s not included in support, but let us know if you have questions and we'll be happy to make recommendations.

How quickly can I expect a reply?

Response times vary based on ticket volume but we do our best to respond to all tickets within several hours during business hours, or the next business day if submitted during off hours.

License Questions

How many licenses do I need?

Each license is valid for a single public installation of the software, regardless of domains. You can create a private installation for development purposes.

Do I need one license for each installation?

Yes, every installation of Socialveo requires a license. However, you are entitled to create a second private installation for development purposes, which it’s not publicly accessible.

Do you offer an unlimited license?

We do not currently offer a license which entitles you to use Socialveo on unlimited number of installations. Each installation requires its own license.

I found a third party selling Socialveo licenses. Is that legal?

Really? Please don’t hesitate to contact us regarding the legitimacy of a license or to report a reseller: you will be rewarded!

Our website,, is the only legal source of Socialveo licenses. By purchasing from third parties, you also risk missing out on the great support and software updates from the Socialveo team.

Installation Questions

How do I install Socialveo?

To install Socialveo on your own server, follow the instructions provided in our Knowledge Base.

If you use Socialveo Hosted, we do installation and upgrade for you for free.

Can Socialveo be installed in a subdirectory or subdomain?

Yes, you can install Socialveo in a subdirectory and subdomain on your server.

Can you do installation?

Yes, you can order a professional installation service from here. After your order you can open a support ticket and provide your login credentials, your installation will generally be completed within 1 business day, however it is often completed within hours.

We provide free installation and free upgrade for Socialveo Hosted.

Can I hire Socialveo team for custom work?

Do you have an affialiate system?

Can I translate Socialveo in to my language and sold this?
